1. Campaign Overview

1.1. The “30 Days of Appiness” Campaign (referred to as “the Campaign”) is organized by McDonald’s South Africa ( referred to as “the Promoter”).

1.2. The Campaign will run from 17 February to 18 March 2026, inclusive (referred to as the “Campaign Period”).

1.3. The Campaign aims to excite and reward App users with exclusive deals, merchandise, and non-food rewards throughout the 30 days.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Campaign is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older who are registered McDonald’s App users.

2.2. Employees, directors, agents, and contractors of the Promoter and their immediate families, as well as anyone professionally connected to this Campaign, are not eligible to participate.

2.3. By participating, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

3. How to Participate
3.1. Download the McDonald’s App, register, and participate in daily activities, including claiming deals, unlocking rewards, and engaging with in-App promotions during the Campaign Period.

3.2. Exclusive offers will be available for all day parts, combos, desserts, and more.

3.3. Users have the chance to unlock limited-edition McDonald’s merchandise and non-food rewards, including airtime, streaming subscriptions, and unique experiences.

4. Deal Redemption
4.1. Food rewards and offers must be redeemed via the McDonald’s App during the Campaign Period and are subject to availability in-store.

4.2. The “ Free Surprise” – Merchandise is a surprise and delight and subject to availability at stores. Each surprise is different based on location while stocks last. Merchandise is not guaranteed with every purchase of participating offer during the Campaign Period.

5. Airtime & Data Rewards Redemption
All airtime rewards are redeemable by using loyalty points from the McDonald’s App. Once airtime or data is successfully claimed they will be sent directly to winners electronically via SMSs if claimed successfully. These are limited time rewards while stocks last.

5.1. Ways to Redeem your Rewards Voucher:

5.1.1 How to Redeem your reward from the McDonald’s App

5.2.1. During the Campaign Period you can obtain your official Reward Voucher through the McDonald’s App under the “Rewards” section that contains a unique code as well as the Microsite URL to redeem. www.mcdonaldssa-rewards.co.za

5.2.2. Copy then use unique code by clicking ‘Use Now’.

5.2.3. Paste the rewards voucher copied and complete all fields.

5.2.4. Select the province in which you reside.

5.2.5. After your provincial selection has been made, a list of reward categories will be displayed pertaining to the selected province.

5.2.6. Select your preferred guaranteed reward.

5.2.7. 1 (one) reward selection per unique code is permitted.

5.2.8. The customer will receive an SMS with the digital reward pin to be used for redemption. Once a reward has been selected it cannot be changed.

5.2.9. If the journey is not complete, the customer will not be issued with their digital reward pin for their intended reward.

7. General Terms
7.1. The Promoter’s decision regarding all aspects of the Campaign is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.2. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

7.3. Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except for designated cash prizes.

7.4. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for system failures, network issues, or other interruptions that may hinder participation.

8. Publicity and Personal Information

8.1. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

9.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect your statutory rights. The Promoter may (in its sole discretion) decline to enter any correspondence save as otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions.

9.3 All artwork, elements and characters and other trademarks and trade names featured in these Terms and Conditions and on all reward vouchers, advertising and other promotional materials themed on “McDonald’s reward” , are owned, and licensed by and are ©2026. All rights reserved.

9.4 All logos, prize visuals and other trademarks and trade names featured in these Terms and Conditions and on all advertising and other promotional materials themed are owned and licensed by the Prize Partners.
